Firmware Hub Programmer

Hello, I need to program a Intel 82802A Firmware Hub, and I wish to know if anyone has a simple/low-cost programmer for it.

Thanks

Here is a schematic of the firmware hub on a motherboard.

This will likely work(it works with older flash chips):

1) Get a Mobo which has the FWH in a socket. 2) Boot the motherboard to DOS using the original FWH. 3) Pop the original FWH out of the socket quickly and evenly. 4) Seat the new blank FWH into the socket (see note) 5) Use the Mobo BIOS flash program to burn your custom bits.

Note: when inserting the new-blank FWH, it is paramount that the VCC and GND contacts make before any other pins, otherwise you will ruin the chip.

Hello, Thanks for the reply. But it probably wont work for me... The main problem is that the FWH is soldered on the Mobo.

Thanks.
