When actual person answered, talk was about: Grant via FAFSA Fiancial Aid of $3900 bank fee $3.87 refundable confirmation # 62559.
- Called Capital One and alerted them of this overall fraud; 1) grant, no application, money for any good use 2) School financial aid needs app, being in school 3) "aid" does not sound like a grant.

The CALL was received 6/11 @ 2:42 PM Made a big thing about FREE grant of $3900 Then wanted fee from charge card for $3.87 (so LIE about free), refundable confirmation #625589 LIE on refundable Talked some about FAFSA and a bit about Grants.gov Turns out that FAFSA is real student aid, must be prequalifed ; LIE of omission and maybe source. Also turns out that "fee" is an un-disclosed recurring charge; yet anther LIE of omission. That $3900 is yet another LIE.
It appears the correct phone number of these fraudsters is 844-206-9803 (obtained from credit card company).
