Here's a 0.3" long trace, with the cheap Shining Star edge-launch SMAs.
The de-mathed rise time computes to 23 ps, which is impressive. So trace length really trashes rise time on FR4.
The TDR shows a bit of excess capacitance, so the connector center pads could be tweaked a bit. Another day.
