Facial hair

I want my engineers to spend a lot of time thinking about electronics. A reasonable amount of ego, and associated confidence, is good, as long as it doesn't get pig-headed and impair flexibility. Smart people with a sense of humor are about right.

Trousers? Are they something like britches and pantaloons?

Do you often wear dresses? None of my employees do.

Grin.. I had my daughter help me for the last trade show. I laid out all the ties, shirts, and pants on the bed and told her to make the matches.

My wife was pointing out that if I get a university job I'll need a whole new wardrobe. A definite minus. A tie would be almost impossible... dang things are always in the way, and I'm not going near the machine shop with one on.

I last wore Levi's in High School, with the bottoms rolled up to form a wide cuff :-)

I now wear Sansabelt slacks, almost exclusively... with suspenders/braces ;-) Shoes are Ecco's... several black pairs, one brown pair.

Not since I got out of High School. The damn things never felt right. The most comfortable were my two pair of Army boots that I had for over a decade, until the leather started to split from age.

Clips weren't allowed when you were in Basic. The Captain ripped one off the guy in front of me and held it up. Then he grabbed my tie and said, This is what you're supposed to wear! he didn't know that it was an expensive clip on that didn't come off easy like the $2 PX ties. ;-)

I'd have thought the latter was for non-paying clients.

Like I said in another post, noting else fits my feet and only New Balance gets that far. When I was in Vermont I'd wear lightweight hiking boots but they were really too narrow but at least the lacing would allow (some) to cover my feet.

Thanks to diabeties, I now wear 12EEEEEE. 10 years ago I wore 8.5W. Some days my feet are so swollen, I can't get the 12EEEEEE on without a painful fight.

Mine are 12E without any swelling. They really aren't that wide but the instep is very high. Pretty much my whole family has the same issue, though my son didn't inherit that gene (don't know where he got the 16 narrow).

His mother's side of the family?
