Cable terminations

Looking for ideas as to how to terminate cabling run through the wall spaces at a "bulkhead" that can then be easily tethered to a bit of kit mounted OUTSIDE the wall, nearby.

All low voltage, reasonably low current (as in < 48V, 10W).

Not keen on lots of screw terminals (100+ conductors, in total) and, ideally, something that keeps conductors grouped "per (hidden-in-wall) cable" (typ 2/4/6 conductors, ea).

Also, want removable connectors -- not "66 blocks", etc.

Simple solution is something like a RJ45 patch panel but I fear too easy for it to be confused with "network wiring". Also, the mating connector bodies for those are total crap!

Telco-style wiring to MBR50? Or fine-pitch ribbon cable can be easily terminated to SCSI-style 50, 68, or 100-pin latched/shielded connectors, if you care about high speed and skew.
