I spotted a Mobiletrak.com snooper at the grocery store [I-495 & US1, College Park] today. It's solar powered, mounted up on a light pole, and has more antennas than a Cat Detector van. There's a folded dipole for the FM monitoring, a VHF whip, a cellular curlie-Q, and something in a 0.5" dia plastic pipe 8" long.

Just don' get caught listening to the local Pacifica station....

I either read an aritcle recently, saw an item on TeeVee, or dreamed that in Great Britain now, they have 100% surveillance of every car in the country? They can track anyone, anywhere. Or whoever's driving your car.

Can anybody corroborate or refute? I know I hallucinate from time to time, so I do need a reality check. ;-)

Thanks! Rich
