Hi, I have a Peltier device, size 40x40mm, marked: ME0B162AG I couldn't find any information about it online. Does anyone know the technical data or the manufacturer ?

No info, but a 40x40mm single stage tec is probably safe below 15V / 3A.
Judging from commercial nomenclature, yours probably draws less than 2A at 16V.
