I wonder how compatible data files are among all the various PCB cad programs?
Have you ever seen a program that will import files from other software?
Maybe when it come to the actual data the programs may all have a similar approach?
I have a defunct program with a lot of data files.
There is no direct capability between the data files for any of the major PCB software packages out there.
Many PCB schematic capture programs will import data from their (much larger) competitors.
In general this approach is something less-than-perfect, due to differing capabilities between programs, the ability to obtain documentation on (or reverse engineer) the file formats, and the skill of the programmers involved... but it's often still much faster than re-entering the design from scratch.
You also have a program that probably has under 1,000 users, so it's likely no other program will import its data.
