I'm creating a PCB symbol for a 16 segment 8 character LCD, and am a bit confused about what pin names to use. Here is a portion of the connection data provided by the manufacturer:
Pin 1 2 3 COM1 8X 8I 7X COM2 8F 8J 7F COM3 8E 8K 7E COM4 8D 8N 7D
Pin1: 1_8X/2_8F/3_8E/4_8D and so on looks reasonable, as it indicates what the four common pins will display. Any other suggestions?
