uclinux board design

hi folks,

i'd like to build a uclinux board out of very few components, something along the lines of the ucsimm using a dragonball. i'm not married to that processor but would like to keep the chip count low, and the cost low, with very basic capabilities - be able to boot up uclinux, have a working ethernet controller, and be able to program it from a pc using standard openly available tools and simple cable. basically what i'm after is a "core" design that i can expand on myself later, something very simple so i can get it working but has enough features to actually verify that it is, in fact, working.

there must be some openly available designs out there already debugged ? i'm using eagle pcb layout software so if there are designs available that already have eagle files made for them, even better. as far as the processor it doesn't have to be a dragonball, just something that's good value for the money and not too expensive. i checked openhardware.net, but i must either be blind or dumb, i couldn't find a board design there though i found several references on the net to the site saying there are board designs there. the site is just laid out funky i think.

i'd like to basically just download the eagle files, order the chips, make a board, and solder ... then be able to load uclinux into flash and have it actually work without a lot of hassles. any ideas on this ?

thanks so much!
