Was rebranded for JRI distributing, Inc by Zenith. Chassis and CRT is zenith inlculding console cabinet. The model number is 178B3. Service number is: MWJ2722H2. Manufactured: March 1993, no it didn't die from bad tube, the surge did because of soot marks around the spark gaps for the main line (115VAC).
Do you have cross models that use same chassis like this to other zenith 27" models that I might have schematic for that chassis?
That tv is phyically not here, it is at friend's in MN and I'm in canada so I need the info so I can take with me when I visit there and try to service it.
