I have a fairly new MSNTV2 remote control. It's not been handled with greasy hands nor been exposed to liquids. It seems when I attempt to lower the volume, the channel changes! The up/down channel buttons and the up volume button work fine. I've put new alkaline batteries in it, to no avail. It's primarily used to work with the MSNTV2 internet-access device. It needs to have a code entered in order for it to control a TV set. I have a Toshiba and am using code #1071.
