Looking for Laserjet 3200 firmware

I am looking for a firmware module for my Laserjet 3200. In USA and Canada, HP send it for free (cause the original was defective on all the printers), but not here in Europe. If you have one, please, send an e-mail to: snipped-for-privacy@tin.it Thank you in advance. Slang

It's on the HP web pile:

If you can't get to the US site, there are other sites that also have the utility available:

I've got a couple of 3200s. The firmware is crap. The module corrupts easily, and the only fix is to replace it. Once it goes bad, you can't use the flash utility to download. Hp replaced both of mine for the cost of a service call ($25), but that was some time ago.

Now one of my machines reports a '79 service error' on occasion, especially after a power loss, but usually boots back up after a complete power cycle. I've replaced the module yet again with one from a parts machine, and when this one goes...so does the printer.

I can't get it to work properly with XP anyway, despite downloading all the patches....

Yes, i am looking for the memory module, not the software. But here in Europe, HP doesn't send the module as a free replacement, we must pay for it (ond for the service call, of course).

If you have a firmware card (or you can find one), please, send me a message. TIA Slang

Apart from the firmware problem, we never had a problem with this printer. But we only use it as a lan printer and to manually send faxes. What kind of problem do you have?

The scanner is not even 'there' according to XP. The resident software keeps losing track of the the printer itself; popping up messages that communication has been lost until I unload the manager. I get a complete software crash every time I try to use any of the functions in that package anyway.

Tried to burn the last firmware update? I only experienced "Communication has been lost" when our printserver (HP 500X) had a problem with its power supply. Slang
