Have tried all the inputs, AV1, AV2, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, PC, Component 1 and Component 2 with the same resuts. The picture and color is there in all the inputs but the background is very white. Occationally the dark spots changes to a cartoon-like green color.

It could be. or it could be a defective main board. I recommend

This problem could be a bad tcon, bad caps on the tcon or main board, a blown fuse on the main board or the TCON, or a bad LDO regulator on the main board or tcon. The fact that the audio is fine indicates the power supply is fine, and that major parts of the main board are. working.

My usual recommendation is to check the fuses and outputs of all LDO regulators on the main board. If the outputs are good, replace the tcon.
