Are there any experts on the tda4601 SM chip out there. It seems to be shutting down to protect the set, which is OK otherwise. All the usual suspects, (all electrolytics, some bipolar caps + D36/36 & all resistors on the primary side of SM trans.) have been checked or replaced. PCT2 (J29), is running v.hot. Is this the culprit?
