does anyone here have much experience with this project

The documentation seems a bit sparse and I'm wondering if there's a quick tutorial on getting up and running on it.
so far all I've found is the README, but how to make files/rootfs to load/run is escaping me. plus a little more overview on the skyeye.conf structure might be good.
