Hello,
I am conducting a retained search for a senior Embedded Linux Applications
Programmer.
The hiring company is creating accurate, personalized real-time roadway
traffic information for consumers with a very novel approach using low-cost
navigation and creative use of p2p networking and other technologies to
inform drivers of the quickest route and estimated time of arrival based on
not only mapped data but also actual and current traffic conditions. One of
the key selling points and differentiators will be a patented ability to
revolutionize traffic report "freshness" down to about 5 minutes from what
is currently 15-30 minutes at best.
The company is pre-IPO, well funded by Tier 1 money (both Sequoia AND
Kleiner Perkins are in!), and offering excellent career opportunities for
the right candidates. The play is large and the technology and funding has
come far enough along that we can see a successful outcome. The company is
located in Mountain View, and is currently up to about 30 people.
Below are the job requirements and if you see a match and are interested, I
would appreciate you sending me a cover letter and your resume in return in
Word format.
I'll be happy to tell you more both about the job and the exciting company,
as well as explore further if there's a fit. If this is not for you, then of
course a referral would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to hearing back from you!
Thanks and best regards,
André Perman
