An innovative cutting edge startup Audio and Cloud focused startup is looking for a talented developers to supplement our growing team and work on an innovative "rock the industry" type product.
Required skills:
Embedded Linux driver developer, knowledge of 2.6 kernel, real time drivers, Audio, Networking and WiFi. Experience with Freescale I.MX processor family is a must. Knowledge of Audio frameworks like ALSA and Gstreamer. Hands on experience debugging and testing in the lab with a hardware designer. Excellent C/C++ coding skills.
The position is a 3 months contract with an option to hire. The position can be based in California or Massachusetts / Rhode Island area. In the initial phase of the project the candidate will be required to spend a significant amount of time in Los Angeles debugging and doing hardware bringup.
Competitive compensation.
The ideal candidate considered for permanent hiring would also have experience with Python, and familiarity with REST and JSON frameworks, as well as knowledge of popular DAW software ( Protools, Cubase, Audacity, etc... )
