now thats a pitty :( i really wanted to build a small computer in EWB. any sugestions of software that will do this?

Try it in VHDL, it can be done! (Not into EW5.0, but in the appropriate tool)

It's just a matter of definition, where does combinational / sequential logic cross over to be a micro. That's not really defined AFAIK except in the physical size of the package you put it in but either road up your not looking at a trivial undertaking, more like a lifetimes work. Once you build a replica of a micro into any software package it is only a series of logic and clocks so get stuck in. If I am still alive when you have finished I would enjoy looking at it :)

A VHDL model should take about a month. Longer if you have to learn the VHDL programming nuances.
