How to display synplify_pro version in tcl command

Feb 15, 2005 1 Replies

Is there anyway to know synplify_pro version through tcl command or variable? Since its 8.0 has some major difference than old version in false path constraints. I just want to load those automatically generated constraints if synplify_pro version is greater than 8.0.

thanks,

Pei

The file lib/version.txt has the version information, which you can use to extract the version. The simplest way I'd suggest is to set an environment variable (something like SYNPLIFY_PRO_VERSION) when you set up the environment (PATH etc) for synplify_pro.
