Low cost variable freq. capacitance meter 0.1pf to 1nf

Hi

Can anyone help me source a low cost

Don't know what the 'Peak' unit is, but I have a AADE (Almost All Digital Electronics) L./C meter II which spans that range. It was a kit for $100 or so. I seem to read from your message you want to read at selected frequencies, if so then this unit is not suited. It has a 750 kHz or so osciilator which frequency is changed by the unknown C or L. A PIC is used to measure the frequency and compute the unknown value. Self-calibrating, resolution 0.01 pF and 1 nH. I like it very much.

Greetings Wayne..

Help on a board like this runs from adolescents to full Electrical Engineers or scientist. It would therefore probably be helpful to know what your applications actually is to warrant a worthy recommendation.

Hi

I am interested at looking at the impedance and capacitance of PCBs with the addition of contamination over various frequcies.
