Hey there - I'm hoping to find a right angle mini-PCI connector that would leave the connected mini-pci card about 1.5cm above the PCB surface. Does such a beast exist? I can't find anything.

Samtec are bound to do something that will fit the bill.
I have seen such a thing in laptops, maybe not quite 1.5cm but definitely 1cm at least. So it does exist as a stock part... if that helps :)
