You can't use the built-in USB device interface for anything other than programming it, as it basically implements the Xilinx USB-JTAG dongle.
You'll have to add some hardware to do this.
Oh, and by the way -- there's no such thing as a "standard USB device."

One way to give it a USB interface is to implement a fast soft core on it and do USB in software.
