Hallo,
ich habe ein Mikrocontroller Board mit einem Atmel AT89S52 aufgebaut. An XTAL1 und XTAL2 habe ich wahlweise einen 8Mhz und 24Mhz Quartz angeschlossen. Der Quartz wird über 2x 30pF Kapazitäten gegen Masse verbunden.
Messe ich nun mit einem Oszi die Frequenz am Quarz so beträgt diese, unabhängig vom Quartz ca. 7Mhz.
Was mache ich falsch? Wie kann das sein?

One crystal between Xtal1 and xtal2 is enough. Steve
Hello,
I got the problem. I have used a wrong 24Mhz crystal, wich needs a 24Mhz filter connected to its output. The base frequency of the crystal is 8Mhz.
