Faretti a LED a 230 Vca.

Ho visto in commercio dei faretti alimentati a 230 V, muniti di una ventina circa di LED ad alta luminosità. Che cosa viene impiegato per ridurre la tensione di rete al valore adatto ai LED (una trentina di V circa suppongo)? Il solito circuito switching o cos' altro? Ho da anni una stupida lampada da tavolo al neon (circolina) con una lente di ingrandimento al centro; per accenderla devo tenere premuto un pulsante per almeno cinque secondi (fa da starter), ma non sempre funziona e devo spesso riprovare. Inoltre il tubo é sprovvisto di protezione meccanica e temo che un giorno o l' altro mi ritroverò sul tavolo una miriade di pezzi di vetro (e vapori di mercurio). Vorrei risolvere gordianamente il problema con i LED. Che LED usare per una luce calda e non azzurrina?

20 led sono un po' pochi, io ne ho fatto uno che ne usa 68, ecco lo schema: 68 led bianchi 5mm alta lum. a 230V ,lo trovi nella pagina in firma. Con 68 puoi evitare d'usare grossi condensatori per sfruttarne la reattanza capacitiva come limitatori della tensione in eccesso, attualmente si trovano dei led,non proprio i piu' luminosi, a prezzi stracciati su ebay dai venditori cinesi.

Devi metterne alcuni di colore giallo e rosso con caduta di tensione simile ai bianchi (se si trovano), altrimenti devi ricalcolarti la tensione complessiva e metterne un numero sufficiente per avere la stessa caduta di tensione complessiva dei 68 da 3,3V.

ne metti tanti in cerchio ed avrai una luce calda, ma considera che l'angolo di visuale è solo 30° e per illuminare bene degli oggetti a 20cm te ne servono almeno una 50ina...

io ho fatto una cosa simile

e guardando dentro il foro per l'obiettivo può essere usato per illuminare piccoli oggetti, e la temperatura colore non dà fastidio (considera che non sono lampade da usare al buio)...

ho dovuto fare un elevatore di tensione a 70V ma in compenso ho usato solo 4 resistori SMD e uso elevatore di tensione e batterie sia per videocamera/fotocamera Sony che per fotocamera Nikon 52 mm di diametro.

Certo, ma chi deve fare un faretto per Nikon ha il print bello e fatto, chi invece deve farlo per altri apparecchi puo' prendere spunto da questo senza dover studiare troppo. Il print occupa tanto spazio perche' tutti i cerchi usati come piste sono costruiti con semplici segmenti di riga dritta (non c'e' altra possibilita') inoltre ho dovuto ridisegnarmi dei LED custom (anche questo occupa piu' spazio rispetto a quelli standard di libreria) perche' con il disegno di quelli standard mi restavano incastrati e non si riusciva a direzionarli opportunamente.

Schema e sito interessanti, comunque per il mio scopo 68 sono troppi. La circolina attuale é da 22 Watt ed illumina ciò che sto esaminando sotto la lente. Inoltre, ero curioso di sapere che sistema di riduzione della tensione viene impiegato nei faretti commerciali.

ma ti trovi bene con la luce così uniforme? io pensavo di aggiungere un controllo di intensità solo su alcune zone per avere un minimo di ombre...

Puo' darsi ma io ho isolato tutto per benino, poi 70V non mi fanno paura dato che ho perso piu' volte la 230, una volta mi sono anche scottato bene con un grosso condensatore per flash.

Non so quanto sia efficiente, ma la semplificazione circuitale mi ha indirizzato verso questa strada, non ho problemi di durata, al limite ricarico piu' frequentemente gli accu, poi 3 accu LI-Ion da cellulare sono molto meno ingombranti e pesanti rispetto ad un pacco di batterie.

Per l'uso che ne faccio si, a me serve l'illuminazione piu' uniforme possibile.

ad occhio direi che 4w dissipati sui led (quindi 50led ad alta intensità) equivalgono a 20w di una lampada ad incandescenza...

non esattamente, i led equivalgono al flusso di un neon, più o meno, parlando di led ad alta potenza come i luxeon, che arrivano a 120 lumen.
