tiny Robotic hand

hey , I am with a weired idea ultilate challenge for innovators ..i hope that will add to the next level of robotics ..

can any one design a movement mechanism ..as small as a PIN by capacitive ,tiny solenoid ,whatever .. points are

1.Must be possible to do DIY with preferebly junkyard /household components 2.power shold be enough to move 1 sq cm of paper 100gsm 3.Cost effective 4.Simple

Eg . a tiny piston cylinder ,tiny arm like watch hand [should not have a bigg mechanism tied to like the watch]..

think Kaushik

No problem, commonly done with nanotech.

Yes, sands are in every junkyard/houseyard.

If you have enough parallel structures, it should work.

Very cheap ($1 or $2 each) except for the first one.

Relatively simple.
