Hi, ive simulated my PLL in ltspice using basic digital elements, results posted in abse but I want to put it into a fpga as Im using one for other stuff too, I have this simulated in xilinx IDE, but is there a way of simulating a fpga with a vco atatched ?
it would be nice to see what frequency it would work upto, using the routed part and a circuit for a vco.
I dont want to divide the 2ghz VCO down more than necessary, the charge pump outputs probably wont be able to go much more than a few hundred Mhz i gues, but the toggle flops might be able to do some of the dividing.
