S-video to RCA adapter

Yes, I know I could buy an S-video to RCA adapter / cable on the internet for about $10-15, but I was wondering if it is straightforward to wire my own.

The usual reason: got a computer with an S-Video out, and a TV with the S-video input connection busted (but I've got RCA in available).

Any suggestions?

AFAIU(epanorama.net) it is just a 330pf or so cap between the Y and C pins with the signal taken from the Y pin. Quite primitive, sometimes it works, but I have found a nasty chroma crawl on some video cards. I dont have a video vectorscope anymore, so I havent examined it any further

You can make your own using a 470pf capacitor, or get an adapter at the bottom link fairly cheap.
