I think that was his point: Nothing was better than what he had.
This prison would not be in the continental US. It would be a new Devil's Island.
And yes, we can build AND FILL many new prisons.
I would then feel safer about the Americans that follow my generation.
I won't be around much longer, but reducing the free soil accessibility of hardened criminals gives me pleasure, so I'll stay the course.
We can't judge it from the picture, but let's hope that he at least is wearing sunglasses.
And what the heck is he doing with his left hand? Obviously making the "ground" connection, but why right by the arc? His fingers look burnt and taped from previous such adventures. What's the UV intensity so close to the arc? Not to mention sputtering molten metal and stuff.
Other than that, the transformer is a true work of art. That's the spirit. I once took apart a 24V/20 amps EI core transformer and re-wound it for 12V. Wasn't much fun.
