Anyone know of a source for small quantities of expanded metal (aluminum

There is a metal place I used before on, oh hell, the half way street between Northern and Dunlap, Hatcher or ??, around 7th ave. They have a lot of small left over stuff they sell by the pound (or did a few years ago).

No - this is a true metal place. The old GE/Honeywell place (Apache Reclamation) is off I-17 / 7th Ave past Durango curve. Last time I was in there it was all just pure junk. There is another metal place off

19th ave and Washington or somewhere down there. There may be one in Chandler now. Look in the phone book and give them a call. Most will cut for you for a few extra bucks. Most of the time it's cheaper to just buy a full piece and have them cut it and keep the leftovers for the next project.

BTW: McMaster-Carr is great for other hard to get stuff. It comes out of LA. Order today and the ups truck will show up the next day. I miss that quick delivery.
