R.I.P.

Along with plenty of adsorbent rags, and a can of Hoppes gun oil to make it look good? :)

The VA is _still_ f***ed over. I could see my cardiologist immediately, if I wanted. I'm delaying, because they want no more than a month between medical approvals and the surgery date... and I have to fit in the visit of my PITA sister :-( ...Jim Thompson

Mine too. It took a month to see him the first time but all I have to do now is call and ask which office he's in. I may have to drive 40 miles but I can see him pretty much anytime (and have had to, recently). The government is really screwing Michael around. That's what's in store for all of us if the Demonrats get their way.

When you're super-bored in the recovery room, could you sketch out a quick explanation of how those four-quadrant multipliers work? I never could figure those things out -- other than to just accept that they work as advertised! :)

Good luck with the surgery!

It's loop analysis. Add up the vBE's in a _loop_, where

vBEx = kT/q*ln(Ix/Is)

Simplify the math, noting how sums and differences of LOGs behavior. You will then see how to eliminate the LOGs and be left with a PRODUCT.

Thanks! ...Jim Thompson

Same here, Jim. I personally have no connection to the forces of the Universe but I've noticed that I can pay other people (Shamen to be specific) who *do* have, to get done what I want done for me and that gets the job done every bit as well.
