PH meter schematic

I need a PH meter schematic to construct one for my father.

Can anybody help me?

This is rather trivial. You need to measure the 700mV or so with a high impedance.

I seem to recall a cheap homemade ph sensor mentioned in some newsgroup. Not as accurate as commercial units, but maybe good enough for non-critical applications.

Do you have any idea how to do that?
