PCB Log Periodic Antenna

I need a log periodic broadband antenna covering the 700MHz to 4 or

6GHz range for ambient field measurements. They are several hundred dollars from test equipment suppliers. But, with due respect, there doesn't seem to be that much to them, in terms of construction.

Has anyone by chance seen a low cost PCB version of these for sale? If not, is one feasible, say using an applet like the one below to design the segments?

Hello,

the normally used PCB material FR4 will be not suitable for frequencies of several GHz, you should use a special HF PCB material.

The cost isn't in the production, rather the design and calibration. That has to be made up on a fairly small quantity sold, so...

Even if the material is very thin?
