Fred is like the homeless guy on a bike who rolled up to security at the Paul Ryan event in Ocala yesterday, and asked if it was for Obama. Part of the 47%, no doubt. Then a group of hecklers were shouting 'Obama-Biden' while he was speaking. they were outside the secured area, and could barely be heard. Luckily for them, it was only two blocks from the soup kitchen that feeds them.

Err.. aren't you one of those "47%"? (non-taxpayers, AIUI). Not that *I* think there is necessarily anything wrong with that, it depends on the circumstances doesn't it?

Mitt had a great line the other day:

"This show is brought to you by the letter O and the number 16 trillion."

Maybe- but it is obvious the snippets were of broad context and not misrepresented. Romney's 'platform' is a function of who his audience is at the moment.

That's another typical Republican lie to get ignorant people all excited. O bama inherited an accumulated debt of $12 trillion when he took office, the re is an unstoppable exponential increase factor due to interest payments a nd inflation, and stopping the impending train wreck of global economic col lapse does not come cheap.

Well, it seemed to me you were supporting Ryan - the originator of the

47% statement. It seemed odd that you would considering you are one of those he was denigrating.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what.... These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. So he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean, that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

AIUI, this includes students, senior citizens - and veterans who cannot work due to disability.

Well, perhaps it *does*. I have no quarrel with that!

It's just that he seems to take every opportunity to denigrate others "on welfare".

He does not have a service related disability, it is a disability which only appeared conveniently with the prospect of long term unemployment. He's too good to work.

It is impossible to accord that degenerate individual any of the usual recognition for candidates for US presidency, he is an abomination of the American system.

Actually, I think Obama is a very weird guy. He doesn't like people, doesn't understand how Congress (much less an economy) works, and only seems to read teleprompters well. He seems to be emotionally erratic and fairly fake; just listen to the bizarre Ebonics/hill-billy accent he puts on intermittently for black audiences. His pre-2008 history is dismal. I don't think he even likes being President.

Mitt seems like a very decent person, not to mention a superb manager.

" He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. "

Do you know anything at all about the University of Chicago??? He taught Constitutional law there for 12 years and you think he doesn't know how Congress works??? Chicago is at the top of the top, always has been.

just like the Grim Reaper.

"Bain Capital is an investment partnership which was formed to invest in startup companies and ongoing companies, then to take an active hand in managing them and hopefully, five to eight years later, to harvest them at a significant profit?" - Mitt

Superb!

"Bain bought Ampad in 1992 for just $5 million, financing the rest of the deal with borrowed cash. Within three years, Ampad was paying $60 million in annual debt payments, plus an additional $7 million in management fees. A year later, Bain led Ampad to go public, cashed out about $50 million in stock for itself and its investors, charged the firm $2 million for arranging the IPO and pocketed another $5 million in "management" fees. Ampad wound up going bankrupt, and hundreds of workers lost their jobs, but Bain and Romney weren't crying: They'd made more than $100 million on a $5 million investment."

Don't forget to mention that the IPO was deliberately inflated by his co-co nspirators in investment banking and finance industry- probably more thieve s from the Harvard clique.

All he's doing lately is blaming Congress (both parties!) for getting nothing done. Congress (neither party!) is very happy about that.

O's history is in fact pretty mysterious.

I was making fun of an idiot who was surrounded by Romney-Ryan signs asking if it was an Obama rally. The guy can't read, and has never worked. He was looking right at a 25 foot Jumbotron with the information, but still didn't know where he was.
