Pretty cool. I noticed that Logo last night, but didn't think anything of it. I especially like the button "Insert Coin". Nice touch!

It is the actual game engine as well, with the only difference being the field size and corridor shape(s).

I thought that google would have had to get permissions to use it, but I am pretty sure that Bally/Midway was quite happy to let them do it.

It uses a javascript emulator that they likely got a piece of from the boys over at MAMEDEV. The Z80 emu-code is not that big.

I gave it a well seasoned upright video game arcade veteran looking over. Something you'll never be able to do.

My first job in electronics was fixing them for a major distributor and those years were also the heyday years of upright gaming. I saw every game that was ever in an arcade back then cross our thresholds.

There were several iterations, and many had more aggressive pac men after you, just as this one does on subsequent levels.

It is the same code with changes made that modified the field shape and size and corridor configurations. Nothing about the game engine changed, and it runs under the java script emulation engine just fine.

The original DID have levels, idiot. They are levels of achievement. You are too stupid to have caught that as well though. That much is obvious. Note the little fruits that get acquired as each 'level' is played off. Can you really be so stupid that you did not know about this?

There were several iterations of the game as well, idiot. The one they used was not the original release at all, but the more aggressive, subsequent one. There were releases with different playfield levels as well.

Yawn.... After getting into a pissing contest recently with a user (who appears to be a complete sociopath), I decided to lay low for this one.

In college, we had some guys who could play the Original Pac-Man pretty much non-stop. They had figured out (memorized) how to move the joystick to win every time. I recall that if you watched those little guy's eyeballs carefully, they would look in the direction they were about to turn. This gave the player an advantage, if they knew the trick. (And could react accordingly.) There were a bunch of other little tricks and quirks, that I've forgotten since those days. I didn't check the Google version to see if they eyeball trick still applies.
