OT: Bread and global -- ya guessed it Warming

Was looking into baking my own bread yesterday. Some article explained about how yeast works, it rises by producing CO2... Then I realised that in western society we all eat a lot of bread and------ IMMEDIATELY it became clear to me that THAT is where the problem comes from: CO2 from rising yeast. If we keep eating products with yeast in it at this rate, then the whole world will flood in the next few month, if not sooner. So stop eating those products and save the world!

The problem is NOT bread, it is beer... We must ALL stop drinking beer. I'll sacrifice and be the test datum, and continue drinking, but everyone else must stop, now.

Better stop breathing! NOW! You can save about 2 tons/year of CO2 from a single person this way!

Beer, wine, spirits, all CO2 producers.

But in order to get the grapes, barley, wheat, hops and so forth, we have to grow the plants that capture that carbon from the CO2 alrewady present in the atmosphere. The parts that we ferment and eventually digest are only a relatively small proportion of the total mass of the plants that are grown for this purpose, and if we pyrolysed the bits that we didn't want to chacoal and water, and buried the charcoal, we'd be getting ahead of the game; not very far ahead, since meat is the only food crop that wastes enough energy to register with even the lunatic fringe greenies.

It isn't "western society", it is primarily the USA that eats the refined white bread with yeast and all the fiber removed.

And the USA is about the only country that has lots of people with diverticulosis, and possibly more perforated colon deaths than any other country.

The Bible warns against it, but I don't think that is why other peoples prefer the flat bread or the firm bread, the white bread balls up and never digests, I stopped eating white bread in

2002, I eat crackers now, but I don't know if it makes a difference or not.

So another complaint against the USA, bread with yeast releases CO2, sorry everybody, all I can do is say,

Run for your life,

or buy a life preserver.

Pity about that Rich. You also think that anthropogenic global warming is a religion, white is black, and Jim Thompson is a dangerous left- winger.

It's warmer, not necessarily nicer, and might involve changes in weather patterns that meant that rain might stop falling on the farmlands that curently grow your food and whatever it is that you are inhaling at the moment.

But you don't understand much at the best of times, so why are you asking for help now?
