A client wants a 50ohm VHF-capable coax test connection on a board. Which is best? MHF1? U.FL?
It should be easily unpluggable, not like those poorly designed 9V battery clips where you need a Swiss army knife to pry them loose. Another concern is re-connectability because some of those wear after very few dozen cycles which would not be good. Doesn't need to have performance at UHF or above, only up to air band VHF.
SMA is way too big. Ideally there should also be an availability of ready-made adapter cables for that to BNC or at least to SMA. Cost isn't much of an issue. SMT would be nice.
