Microcontroller suggestions?

Didn't SiLabs acquire Cygnal? ;-) The 8051F061 is still a great product and SiLabs a great bunch of folks.

So why can't you sample in parallel and convert serially? A video ADC should convert at rates well above what you need. You could even over-sample. ;-)

Get a Mantis. They're cheaper than eyes. ;-)

Hire a contractor. A couple of weeks should hammer this out pretty well.

Electronics? In SED?

Right. Sometimes if you start a thread off with "all liberals suck" it will drift off-topic to electronics.

with all the path ways you are dealing with, I don't think using a multiplex ADC is going to matter much, since you can offset the acquired reads to account for the internal MUX scan to get them aligned...

That's just me.. What ever way makes you feel better... :)

Well, goes with the territory..

Yup. I mentioned both SiLabs and Cygnal in the same breath in the post you were quoting.

Beware to read the datasheets very carefully! I've got some nasty bites from the STR700 series. Luckely I make trial projects first before designing in a (to me) unknown controller.

Failure does not prove something is impossible, failure simply indicates you are not using the right tools... nico@nctdevpuntnl (punt=.) --------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks.

If the issues are at least - in principle - to be found by reading the datasheets, that is an advance over some!
