Thanks for posting the original question and the solution you've settled on.
I am very interested in getting what you originally wanted: a pci card which has a USB OTG or other USB "B" port for connection to a USB "A" port on another computer. (Naturally, of course, this is not for file transfer as there is a wide range of ways of transporting files.)
For your project with the Gumstix Overo Earth, will you get a box from Gumstix? From what i can tell from the wikipedia articles
I guess you've had time to mess with it some by now, so would appreciate any interesting facts that emerge --- and if in the meantime somehow a USB slave kit turns up, please post, and thanks in advance.
