I'm looking for a dot matrix lcd display that is at least 320 x 240 and hopefully has a built-in LCD controller or a serial interface. It also needs to not turn dark in the hot sun. Does anyone know if there is such a part?

All the color type lcd looks dark in the sun. So you'd better to choose mono type LCD. And you can find there are many vendor in

and the other B2B website. By the way, the drive voltage for LCD should change if the environment temperature changed. Make sure your supply voltage for LCD is suitable.
