Around here I've never heard it used to describe a sex organ. But on Usenet if that's the only weapon you have, it's used fairly often. misinformation is proffered as truth by the ignorati.
I've had more than a few run-ins with Phil, some when I was wrong and
some when I wasn't.
When I wasn't, I just offered my data or maybe a Haiku illustrating
the situation, and the confrontation was defused.
When I was, I simply admitted it and the confrontation was then also
defused.
No big deal; we all make misteaks.

You don't read SER enough. Phil is famous for setting traps just to come back and belittle people with his petty filth. Either correct the error peacefully or shut the f*ck up. There is no need for his kind of vindictiveness when you can be civil and correct any misinformation. His interactive model in real life would be an instant failure.
