Problem fixed. Sort of. Uninstall GE6 and plug-in. Reinstall GE5. Reinstall plug-in. Uninstall GE5 Reinstall GE6.
No other combination of steps works. Done. (?)

They will recover, but they are going through copyright hell on the image data and the map data. Way too many of their sources are thinking "cash cow".

Decimal degrees, yes.
