Nice. similar to one I made for programming a little AVR board. Question: What's that little power supply? I've been looking for something small, maybe 0-30V 0-3A to put in my field service kit.

I was also thinking something like that might be handy. However, I like to stack my equipment boxes and the rounded top makes that difficult.

Two Lascars stack. It's OK, but it only goes down to 1.2 volts, and the pot is a little tricky to set. But handy for general use.

Thanks. The data sheet: says 1.5v minimum. I need to go much lower, so that's not going to work for me. It doesn't have an adjustable current limit, which is handy for charging batteries. The rounded top and bottom are intentionally designed so that you can only stack Lascar power supplies. The curved case also makes it difficult to operate vertically. At 100 mV p-p output noise, it's at the high end of what I consider tolerable. I agree, good for general purpose use.

I just noticed that if I go to the list of single rail power supplies on the Lascar site, the PSU 130 doesn't appear, suggesting that it's no longer available:

I've got a Volteq supply I like. ~$100. It's got a coarse and fine adjustment knob for current and voltage. It's not small.

Thanks. "Not small" probably means it's a linear power supply. One of these perhaps? That's quite a price drop below list price.

This one looks like it will work for me: Size: 10.6" x 5.0" x 5.7" Weight: 13 lbs Yes, big and heavy. So far, the only thing that bothers me is that the voltmeter is on the right, and the ammeter on the left. Every other power supply I own (Lambda) is the other way around.

I've got the thermal data if anyone's interested.
