Eeyore hates American movies too...

I sat down to watch "Some Like It Hot" which made my teenage niece pull a face. "Why are you watching that old black and white movie"? she asked.

When we finished she admitted that it was far more entertaining than she had expected.

Now, now. Don't hassle the Hoff.

Compiler? They do strange things.

No thanks!. Other than Morse, they're showcases for what I try to avoid. Odd world. As a native I've grown allergic to the E-lit' stuff. Yet as a 'johnny foreigner' you seem to have a taste for it :) john.

I agree.

AVR? Maybe this might help:

"If a certain int is not used or undefined we can just put a RETI instruction there, in case a false int happens."

No wonder you never get it right. A DVD ISO requires a volume that can handle large files.

The classically bad comedy, "Smokey and the Bandit" is on WGN right now.

Sunset Boulevard.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

Yeah, I love English literature. Trollope, Austen, Wodehouse, Eliot, Dickens, Patrick O'Brian, E M Forster, Shakespeare, Sir Walter Scott, all that good stuff. And the mysteries, Lord Peter, Miss Marple, Cadfeil, Dalgleish, Morse, Sherlock Holmes. I guess that it would be less interesting if you'd been exposed to it all your life.

But the more modern stuff, Prime Suspect, Lynley, all seem grim, confused, and not at all nice.

We were walking in Carmel on Saturday and came upon a gorgeous red Jaguar parked across the sidewalk. Mo and I both said "wow, it looks like Morse's car" and then saw the license plate, MORSE63. The owner turns out to be a Morse fan and bought/painted the car to look just like the original. We have a lot of Anglophiles here.

We love to go to England: London, Oxford, Cornwall, all those places. Too bad about the food though.

Get that one, then. Great story and great acting, Ben Kingsley, Helena Bonham Carter, and all the great Brit character actors. And it's gorgeous, filmed at Mt San Michel and the Cornwall coast.

It is so bad I had to watch it again. I love the scene where the bikers pick a fight with Jerry Reed over his dog, then he drives over their motorcycles as he leaves the parking lot. ;-)

Went to see "Departed" tonight. Paid Senior Rate (same price as student - I get the same deal at the local high school football games).

Good movie. Don't take the kids.

is this in the jump table at the start of the rom?

Bye. Jasen
