Btw, Penn and Teller got the idea from the 'official' "Ban DHMO" website and the roots of this joke go all the way back to 1989.

The website (originated 1998 but periodically updated) is a brilliant illustration of irrational 'hysterics logic'.

At the very least you'd think anybody science literate would have recognized the DHMO hoax because the hoax has been circulated so much and for so long!

Statistics can also be interesting. 99.99% of all mass murderers started out on mother's milk or formula. If we ban both there will be no more mass murder.

Then again, 11 out of 9 people don't understand statistics.

As Samuel Clements, I think it was, once opined, there are lies, damn lies and then there are statistics.

My all time favorite is a true story that hit the 'news' a number of years back. A shocking 'scientific study' revealing that 50% of our school kids scored below average on standardized tests.

The controversy died a quick bug eyed death when someone pointed out that *is* the definition of "average."

Well, there are only 10 kinds of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

You do not have my original emails. It is the model and the points where weather is exposing certain massacres and murder. I know how to handle statistics and how they can hide and prove almost everything you want. But not even animated images are accepted as proof. Nobody cared document it but me! All the times rain begins pouring exactly when coming out of that place... the smallest discrepancy becomes significative, but as I ve told _some_ people: you are so evidence oriented that if this man is killed in front of you you would not believe it because there would be no evidence, only a fact. My question was not answered: how much potency a brain can develop if fully alighted? What those black wizards and shamans do is process the brain of the victim fully so nothing remains, not even under fixed point theorems... I think some people can calculate actual levels of humidity and other variables to trigger rain or just make it look like a permanent storm over Frankestein s Castle (currently, last one being the Citibank tower in Brooklyn, maybe there are some pictures somewhere in this craze tech place?).

Incidentally, my bad year was 1998, not 1997, but I did not know, the year that was supposedly the **hotter**. Somebodies were doing awful things and going very scared...
