I went looking to repurchase an item I'd previously purchased in Japan. Google kept telling me I was misspelling things, denying the existence of the brand, etc.

Finally:

"You are entirely correct; 枕屋PILOXS (Pillow Shop PILOXS) is a well-known Japanese bedding retailer and expert that operates a highly rated storefront on Rakuten Japan."

Gee, hasn't that been what I've been saying all along???

<rolls eyes>

It may have been trying to avoid saying pillock.

It kpt coming up with names of similar companies, thinking I had misspelled what I clearly had not (given that I had the article in front of me)
