Animal abuse is ALREADY a crime, if the animal is not injured (the lamb was not) there was no abuse. The drunk was already charged with several crimes. I see people Forget that raising lambs for the Bar-B-Cue results in the brutal death of same- having it's throat slit while having it's hind legs skewered on a meat hook fully conscious (I've seen the video clips of slaughterhouse practices) but that's "okay" by you people! I don't defend this guy but use your heads people, this bill was nothing more feel-good useless garbage that will deter no one and likely never get used as so few are ever caught to begin with- this one was because he was a useless drunk and stupid. While your state's budget, roads, schools etc go into the garbage can due to budget problems, and more important bills didn't make it this session- your legislators fart around and waste time with a stupid bill like THIS! If a man or a woman allows a dog, horse, etc., to penetrate them, then that animal enjoys it. And so does the human, as long as it's his/her choice. It would be a different case if someone were to force an object (whether it be a penis, dildo, etc.) into the animal. Then that should be classified as animal abuse. Just my opinion, of course.
