I need a stable opamp schematic using PMOS and NMOS . gain abt 60dB.. can anyone help? meg



i tried dong calculations and design according to the allen and holberg book, according to baker book, but it does not work...:(

Depends on the specs... maybe $5K if completely wrung out over power supply, temperature and process-corner variations.

Are you trying to achieve 60dB of gain in just one stage of amplification? I'm certainly no expert on this, but even the theoretical open loop voltage gain of many op-amps (that mere mortals might use) is "only" around 60dB(1,000,000) and that would be only at DC. Any higher frequencies and the gain would rapidly decline as the frequency went up. Even three 20dB stages might be pushing it, depending upon your frequency requirements and funding.
