Copper? Are you nuts? Just use a piece of drill rod, cut to length. Or even chop off some pieces of bolt or all thread. Then slip a piece of heat shrink over the metal.
Anyone wanting to run for any political office in the US should have to
have a DD214, and a honorable discharge.
