MPQ6842 datasheet?

Apr 22, 2005 8 Replies

Hi, I'm looking for a datasheet for MPQ6842 . Anyone have one?

1989 date code.

thanks

With other MPQ parts, usually the specs are the same as the 2N or MPS of the equivalent number. Like the MPQ3904 is the same as the 2N3904. In other words the MPQ is just four 2Ns in the same package. Hope that helps.

It helps. I went to Op-Amp book store, found a 1988 faded Motorola Small Signal Semoconductors Databook. Opened it up and it's here, a quad complementary pair transistor.

thanks everyone.

_The_ Opamp Book Store, in LA? I've never been there, but I've heard many praise its selection of books. Someday I might make the trek, like a pilgrim to Mecca, just to say I've been there. But i imagine that everything they have is available online nowadays.

Just remember that if you want a book, go to

and you will probably find it a lot cheaper than at the majors such as Amazon. Also try

Locally, we have a couple stores that are online,

and the Book Baron, "The biggest, the best, the Baron."

Yep, that's the one. Opamp bookstore is kinda small. But it has older databooks at times. Once you go in the store, there are used books on the left and right. These old/used books are not online anywhere. That's the reason I went there. By the cashier desk, there's more databooks. I try to ask around local companies, if they are going to be throwing out any old databooks. I'll go dumpster diving after work.

I think I've found what you're looking for. Go to page 9 for a brief list of specs. This .PDF is also handy for the specs for various other small signal transistors. Download it and keep it around. It's 300k .PDF so be patient. I think rose-hulman has a slow swerver. But believe it or not, they're a top-rated engineering college. :-)

I already said I found the part in a 1987 Motorola databook Small Signal Transistors. Anyway, I clicked on the link and ...
